Both the steel case and bezel are crisp and are, to my eyes, unpolished. The dial is clean and still preserves ther adium lume on the numerals, although some patina can be seen on the subdials, as well as an imperfection at 8. The hour and minute hands are blued steel, with radium lume inside it. The seconds, chronograph and minute and hour counter hands are later replacements. The crown is correctly signed. The movement is serviced and works flawlessly, one of the cleanest Valjoux 72 I have ever seen.

Wittnauer, a Longines sub-brand, produced lots of very high quality watches. This particular reference 800 is a perfect representation of their high quality and attention to detail.

The case is crisp and thick, made to be durable. The dial is a work of art: although simple it truly represents a perfect balance between the three registers and the simplicity of it. The hands are unique to this model, having a pointed end and being blued steel with radium lume inside them. The Valjoux 72 inside is fully signed and one of the best I have ever seen.

If this was not enough, the watch comes with its original box (though no papers).
