Vintage Omega doens’t get much better, specially if it’s a watch that is from the late 1940’s that is still beating today (at a really good pace I must say). But this doesn’t end here, the patina on this one is amazing and uniform all-throughout the dial. The sub-seconds at 6 o’clock gives this piece the military attitude it carries itself.
This one carries a caliber 334 from Omega. Heard of the bumper movement? Well, this was used before the automatic movement (as we know it today) it was created by Rolex, it consists of a rotor that instead of spining freely has two ends, that way it bumps!
Would I say this watch is one of the best we have sourced yet? Probably. And it’s available! So grab it before it goes, you will always regret it if you don’t.
