The two-piece clamshell case, one of the protagonists here, is in unpolished condition. The four screws holding it together are in good condition, however, two of them are replacements. The case has three major scratches: one at 2, one at 9 and one just below the running seconds subdial. The blued sword hands are in good condition, maintaining its original blue hue. They have been likely relumed at some point in the past. The rare Venus 103CHR is working great without any flaws.

This watch, manufactured by Imperial Maritime, is a true stunner. This watch features a clamshell case, introduced by Gallet in 1936, which makes it pretty rare. However, the movement is something to look at: a Venus 103CHR (base Venus 75) monopusher. This combination is hardly ever seen in the wild!
