Description
Longines is a well respected brand. They manufactured awesome pieces from calatrava-style all the way to steel sport watches. This watch is one of the latter.
The case is, in some ways, ahead of its period. Usually these cushion-shaped cases were produced in the 70s decade, but this one was just before that, in 1967. Longines made sure to make this a proper sports watch, with of course high legibility, due to the big tritium indices and the colorful orange hand.
The bezel is in mint condition, with a slightly patinated tritium inside the numerals and the big arrow at 12. It freely rotates as it should, with a very satisfying click.
If this wasn’t enough, the case is -to our eyes- unpolished. Needless to say, the movement is working flawlessly and with no handicaps.
