We all know that Enicar made some great watches, and this one is no exception.
This is a true diver’s watch, and the condition shows that it was used specifically for that. If you ask us, this is a really special watch that has started to gain track on the collectors. This particular example is a 36mm Enicar Sherpa Super-Divette. The case is still in good, remarkable condition, we would say it’s unpolished. The case back engravings are perfectly legible and shows a 600.XXX serial number, dating this model to 1963.
The movement (the in-house Enicar AR1145 automatic) is in great condition, and has been overhauled the last year. The dial has evenly patinated to a rich champagne color. The bezel freely rotates by operating the crown at 2 o’clock, and the time (as well as the date), is smoothly set by the remaining crown. Both crown are original and measure 6mm thick. The lume has aged to a dark-ish cream, and still glows under UV light.
It comes with a period correct black tropic strap, specifically made for skin divers and water lovers.
