I just LOVE vintage chronographs. I love them even more if they’re from a reputable brand, like Cauny. But I love them even more if they’re affordable.
For sale it is this Cauny Prima Chronograph from the late 1960’s. Although “blingy” due to its gold accents, this watch doesn’t lose any character or sportiveness. It has aged beautifully through time, having the subdials slightly more patinated. It also feautres an outside tachymeter scale in Km/h, so we can certainly say this watch was produced for the European market.
The gold plating on this watch is in superb condition and little-to-no blemishes can be seen on the case. Inside, we find the famous Landeron 248 with its corresponding Cauny signed bridge. So, having said all of this, you’re taking a lot of time to buy it!
